A Day at the Beach (Shady Oak Beach) and Paddleboard Lessons (limited availability)

If some fun in the Minnesota sun and learning a new fitness activity is what you are craving, grab your bathing suit and towel and join us at Shady Oak Beach. It's one of the many community beaches in the Twin Cities and boasts 76 feet of sandy beach shoreline, a high dive, a sand volleyball court, and a concession stand. Upon arrival, the group will be split into two. While one group enjoys soaking up the sun on the beach, the other group will learn how to paddle board with Kayla, the owner of KB Sculpt. Once the lesson concludes, the groups will switch places. No prior experience required and space is limited.

Curling—Chaska Curling Center

What is curling? Come learn the sport that earned Gold for the USA in the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. Curling is a sport in which players slide stones on a sheet of ice towards a target area that is segmented into four concentric circles. Take a break from the summer heat and try curling! Rubber-soled shoes are required, and a light, long-sleeved shirt is recommended.

Minneapolis Riverfront Segway Tour

Today we will travel back in time on a Magical History Tourâ„¢. Take a ride on a Segway as you enjoy the history of the Minneapolis Riverfront area from 10,000 BC to present, all without breaking a sweat. Let the Segway do the work as you cover several miles accompanied by a professional guide.

You'll start with training on how to operate a Segway safely before embarking on a tour of this scenic and historic riverfront. Ages 12-80 are welcome.

Minnesota River Valley Wildlife Refuge

A few minutes' walk from the Mall of America, the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge is a 14,000-acre National Wildlife Refuge is one of fourteen Regional Priority Urban Wildlife Refuges in the nation. Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge was established in 1976 to provide a habitat for a large number of migratory waterfowl, fish, and other wildlife species threatened by commercial and industrial development, and to provide environmental education, wildlife recreational opportunities, and interpretive programming for Twin Cities residents.

Prince's Paisley Park

St. Paul Caves

Baby Face Nelson...Machine Gun Kelly...Kid Caan...Ma Barker...many of the most infamous characters from the prohibition era were familiar fixtures in St. Paul, Minnesota.  Join us as we take a gangster riding tour of St. Paul. This city tour with a unique twist will take us by the Landmark Center. Once the site of famous gangster trials (J. Edgar Hoover personally escorted public enemy #1, Al Karpis, through the doors for his trial). We'll also stop at the Wabasha Street Caves, which were dug in the early 1800s. A nightclub and restaurant opened in the 1920s, known as the Wabasha Street Speakeasy. In addition to these two areas, there is also a fireplace area with bullet holes in the mantle, left from the 1930’s gangsters as a reminder of a rowdier era.

Twin Cities—Walking Food Tour

Explore the best of St. Paul food in the heart of downtown. Guests will take part in a walking tour to various local restaurants in the historic Cathedral Hill of St. Paul. The tour will start at the Moscow on the Hill where we will divide into two groups. Our guides will provide history and background of home/buildings and neighborhood as we walk to 6 different establishments. There will be food or treats to sample at each stop along the way. There will also be wine, prosecco and beer flights provided at select locations, and both groups will end the tour together at The Happy Gnome.

Uptown—A Day at the Lakes/Lake Bde Maka Ska

Minneapolis is known as the "city of lakes" and Lake Bde Maka Ska is the largest and most iconic of them all. You can walk around the lake, relax on the sandy beach, grab a bite to eat, or if you prefer a more active option, consider renting a pedal boat, bike or kayak for an hour. If shopping is more up your alley, you will enjoy strolling through the unique stores the uptown area of Calhoun Square has to offer, located just a few blocks off the beach.
